About the Author
Barry D. Levine is a volunteer at the Yankee Air Museum. His interest in aviation history goes back to when his father took him out to watch airplane landings and takeoffs at Bradley Field in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Having served in Southeast Asia in 1969, I enjoyed seeing some of the aircraft with which I was familiar, but what I really loved were the well-though out and meaningful paragraphs that accompanied every photo in this book. Even more than the photos (which I really loved) the flavor of the history shown in this book comes from these descriptions. Well done!
