One thing I love about Marvel is its sense of humor. The past volume of Captain Marvel took an existential approach while she saved a planet of refugees from pretty much a genocide. Now they're keeping it light, but still good. Need a laugh while you follow Carol Danvers's adventures? You've come to the right place.

Not necessarily needed as there isn't a bigger arc to this volume and this really seems to focus more on side stories. Good to learn more about Carol Danvers though.. Check this out!!
An exceptional collection about a refreshingly strong female main character.
I chose 5 â for the good writing by Kelly DeConnick. I thought the art was good and I chose this comic to prepare to know a bit more about Captain Marvel.
Horribly written and subpar artwork
Can't get enough Captain Marvel. For someone who was hesitant at first to try a new series, this one is A+++. Great stories, great art, always entertaining.
Kelly Sue Deconnick can do no wrong. Check out her Pretty Deadly title for some great western magical realism!
