The fifth chapter is actually pretty interesting. Sweet provides good examples clearly and provides concise analysis as to why Supreme Court decisions are often ignored on a more micro level. He ends the chapter analyzing the results of other studies on the topic and provides some nice suggestions as to what should be done to make Supreme Court decisions more substantial in their application to the rest of the country. Remember this is only a review of the fifth chapter, I have nothing to say about the rest of the book because I didn't read the rest.
