Good book explaining formations and positioning for beginner soccer players. My son is 6, plays on U8 team, and I pass this book around. I would say this book is good for 6 - 10 years old. I think the words and style of writing is for kids 6 - 10. Probably need to be around 8 to read this book on their own, or parents can read to them if younger.At U8 we play 7 vs 7, and that is the formation this book uses as examples. I know US Soccer is changing so U10 is 7 vs 7, and this book would be good for that age group as well, in my opinion.The book is more advanced than No Puppy Guarding - another iPlaySoccer title.
