It’s just a book, no reason to give it less than 5 stars
I bought this book for my Substance Abuse Counseling graduate course. I'm only a week into the course and have read 5 of 16 chapters. Each of those chapters was full of new information to me. And what was better was that every chapter grabs your attention and is interesting. For anyone who would like to learn more about the subject, I would recommend this book.
school requirement
I purchased this book to meet the requirements of a general education nursing class. You will probably never hear me say this again, but this was actually a great book. I usually pass my books along to fellIow nursing students but this one will remain in my library.
I really like this textbook, more so than any of the other criminal justice ones I am using this semester. It is very thorough in defining specific categories of drugs, something useful for me as I am completely dumb outside of knowing about cocaine and marijuana. I am glad my professor chose this book for our drugs class.
Well the book is interesting! The price is even better!
Wasn't heavily used in class, but its a thin textbook compared to the average college text. Easy to refer to if flipping through it during free time & easy read.
It was a college textbook. What more can I say.
